The beginning
Luke grew up in Maple Ridge, BC and played his minor hockey with Ridge Meadows Minor hockey. Eventually Luke rose through the ranks and was drafted by the Red Deer Rebels (WHL). He spent a couple years developing with the Ridge Meadows Flames and finishing his last season as the top goal scorer, top points scorer, and leading penalty minute earner :). Luke moved on to spend a few years in the WHL where he would finish his playing career.
After Hockey
Luke's passion for hockey only grew stronger after he was done playing. He started coaching minor hockey and continued to do so for a few years. His reputation grew strong quickly and opportunities within the hockey community began to arrive for him. Luke has worked with players at all different levels, from your grass roots to your professionals in the off season.
Current
Luke is proud to be part of the development team for local minor hockey where he has been coaching for 10 years and takes a lot of pride working with young players. He also is a scout in the WHL and a minority owner of a BCHL team. Enjoying many different roles in hockey shows Lukes deep passion for the sport and helping players get to the next level, wherever that may be.
